LASER-FOCUSED ON OUR PROJECT PLAN
FIND THE RIGHT PROVIDER
We partner with Dove Recovery House because they have an excellent record of success, serve women with low/no income, and fill a gap in intensity of care locally by providing Level IV services.
REMOVE START UP BARRIERS
We will provide a turnkey property for Dove to lease and provide start-up funds for the first four months of operation while they obtain NARR certification.
BE A GOOD PARTNER
We will be a fair landlord for this facility. We will advocate for Dove locally. Dove will prioritize Bartholomew County residents and hold slots for local court ordered women who need care.

IN 2021 – 2022 WE:

Created a new not for profit organization with a laser focused mission

Benchmarked potential Level IV providers and chose Dove Recovery House for Women as our preferred partner

Hired a Project Manager to help us execute our Mission

IN 2023 – 2024 WE:

Gathered requirements for our facility

Visited Jasper and Indianapolis locations to gather lessons learned

Signed an MOU with our preferred party: Dove Recovery House for Women

FUNDRAISING
Since 2022 WE:

Developed our fundraising strategy and execution plan

Created broad levels of community support and understanding

Began fundraising through grant applications, conversations with lead donors, and grass roots outreach to select community groups

Procured a premium building site through the generous donation of David and Cindy Force

Our official capital campaign will start during 2025
CONSTRUCTION & LAUNCH
DURING 2025 WE WILL:

Break ground in late Spring and execute our construction plan with our building contractor Force Construction

Support Dove House as they begin to join the Columbus community
TRANSITION

Transition to be simply the landlord for the new Dove House facility
